KOLMYKOVA Anastasiia, a government official from the Ministry of Tourism of the Kamchatka Territory, Russia, has been seconded to the NEAR Secretariat. She commenced her duties on August 23, subsequent to receiving a letter of appointment from Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin.

Having obtained a BA in English and Japanese from the Department of Linguistics and Translation at the Kamchatka National University in Russia, Ms. Kolmykova accumulated over three years of experience at the Kamchatka Exhibition and Tourism Center, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kamchatka Ministry of Tourism. During this tenure, she oversaw foreign economic activities.

With her transition to the International Cooperation Department of the NEAR Secretariat, Ms. Kolmykova will now undertake the responsibility of facilitating communication and coordination with Russian member regions. She expressed her familiarity with the NEAR Secretariat's role in fortifying exchange among member regions in Northeast Asia and pledged her utmost dedication to supporting the Secretariat's endeavors.
