Appointment Ceremony of Groo Iana who was seconded from Altai Territory, Russia was held on April 9 at the NEAR Secretariat. Groo Iana who received a certificate of appointment from Secretary General Jun Jae-won worked at International Relations Division of Altai Territory government prior to being dispatched to the Secretariat and former staff Anna Laman, seconded from Irkutsk Region, Russia concluded a year’s work and returned to her country. Prior to this, on March 31, Batsuuri Undrakh seconded from Khuvsgul Province, Mongolia received a certificate of appointment from Secretary General. She has worked for a year at the Secretariat since April, 2014 and was reappointed by extending her period to work at the Secretariat for another year. Four public officials respectively seconded from China, Japan, Mongolia, and Russia are working together at the Secretariat. They are in charge of opinion coordination and liaison among member regions.
