On March 23 (Wed.), NEAR Secretary-General visited Foreign Affairs Office in Hubei Province, China and introduced various events of NEAR and the member fee system. NEAR events, such as Working-level Workshop (April), Youth Leaders’ Forum (August), General Assembly (September), and International Forum (November), and suggested requested an active participation. “Since Hubei Province is considered as China’s third educational city, following after Beijing and Shanghai, many citizens are highly educated. Through the platform provided by NEAR, we are expecting to have more exchanges amongst high schools and universities in NEAR member countries. NEAR will be a bridge that will connect the members,” said Feng Shi Qu, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office.
