On June 22, Secretary-General LIM Byung-Jin attended online the Sixth Goji Berry Industry Expo, held by the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in Zhongwei city and delivered congratulatory remarks.

In his congratulatory remarks, Mr. Lim praised the leading role that the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Government has played in the development of NEAR since joining NEAR in 2000, such as serving as the chair, and wished the expo a successful event that will showcase Ningxia to Northeast Asia and the world as well.

The expo was attended by LIU Kewei, deputy governor of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, TANG Fanglin, deputy director of the State Forestry Administration of China, ZHANG Li, secretary of Zhongwei city, LIM Byeong-jin, secretary-general of NEAR (online), and HAN Meiling, consul-general of Thailand in Xi’an.

Since its inception in 2018, the Ningxia Goji Berry Expo has been continuously developing and grown into a representative expo that promotes Ningxia along with the China-Arab States Expo and the Ningxia International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo.
