NEAR Secretary-General Sends Congratulatory Letters to Newly-Elected Governors of Mongolian Aimags2024-11-26

Secretary-General Lim Byung-jin sent congratulatory letters to 15 new governors of Mongolian aimags, who were recently elected in the local elections held in October 2024. In the letters, Mr. Lim congratulated them on their election victories and shared recent developments of NEAR. Additionally, he highlighted the roles that the Mongolian member governments have played for NEAR, requesting their continued interest and participation in various NEAR activities.
The local elections in Mongolia, held on October 11, resulted in the replacement of governors in 15 out of the 22 aimags, including Ulaanbaatar. The newly-elected governors began their four-year terms in November 2024.
