Kolmykova Anastasiia, who has served as the seconded official from Kamchaka Territory to the NEAR Secretariat, completed her term of appointment as of August 22, 2024. 

For the past one year at the NEAR Secretariat, Ms. Anastasiia has made a significant contribution to the development of NEAR by successfully carrying out her duties, including the communication with the Russian member-regions, and relevant documentation works.   

Ms. Anastasiia expressed her feelings, saying “I am grateful to the NEAR Secretariat for giving me this wonderful opportunity to experience practical works of international exchange.” She added, “Even after leaving the NEAR Secretariat, I will continue my efforts to foster the mutual peace and prosperity of Northeast Asia, which is the founding spirit of NEAR.”

Secretary-General Lim Byung-jin delivered a commemorative plaque and a gift to Ms. Anastasiia, in appreciation of her hard work for the past one year.

Meanwhile, Chechugova Alina, the new seconded Russian official from Tomsk Region, is scheduled to start her term in the early September.
