○ On April 23, Daejeon Metropolitan City Mayor LEE Jang-woo visited Xi’an City, China, to discuss cooperative measures between the two cities.

○ The two cities agreed to enhance their efforts to promote bilateral exchange in the areas of cultural tourism and economic industries, with a high possibility of industrial cooperation.

○ During his meeting with Mayor YE Niuping of Xi’an City, Mr. Lee shared his plans to foster cultural and economic exchange through initiatives such as inviting performance teams from Xi’an City to the Midnight Festival, which will take place in August this year.
