LI Dong-bin, a government official seconded from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China, on April 8, 2023, has completed his term of appointment and will be returning to China on April 8, 2024.
Mr. Li has demonstrated an outstanding performance in his duties at the NEAR Secretariat over the past one year. In particular, he successfully assisted Gansu Province, China, in joining NEAR membership and played a significant part in inviting Qinghai Province, China, as a new potential NEAR member, contributing to the growth of the NEAR Secretariat.
Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin presented Mr. Li with an appreciation plaque and commemorative gift as a token of recognition for his unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions.
Taking up the mantle, HOU Rui, the government official to be seconded from Gansu Province, will assume her role in the end of April as Mr. Li’s successor.
