Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin had a pleasant conversation with LEE Soojohn, director-general of the International Student Affairs Bureau at Yeungnam University and former Korean consul-general in Qingdao and Yokohama, who visited the NEAR Secretariat on March 18.
After providing an overview of the NEAR’s recent activities and presenting major projects for 2024, Mr. Lim requested Mr. Lee for his active support so that the NEAR’s planned projects including the “2024 NEAR Member/Associate Member Training Program” can be carried out successfully in accordance with the MOU signed between the NEAR Secretariat and Yeungnam University.
Mr. Lee said he can surely feel the increasing role and energy of NEAR in recent days, hoping to further advance the cooperation between Yeungnam University and NEAR in various areas, particularly in attracting international students.
