Russian Resident Officer Sleptsova Irina Is Inaugurated at the NEAR Secretariat on November 22020-11-02

Sleptsova Irina, the chief specialist of the Ministry for External Relations and Ethnic Affairs of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), was inaugurated as the Russian resident officer on November 2. She received a letter of appointment from Secretary General Kim Ok-chae and started working at the Secretariat.


After majoring in Chinese Language and Literature at M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University in the Sakha Republic and earning her Master’s degree in International Trade from Heilongjiang University, China, Ms. Sleptsova worked as a government officer in the Sakha Republic for five years where she was in charge of foreign affairs and international events.


As the Russian resident officer in the Department of the International Cooperation of the NEAR Secretariat, Ms. Sleptsova is in charge of liaison and coordination with Russian member governments. She stated that she would do her best and contribute to the development of the NEAR Secretariat.
