Lu Dongliang

About 1.8 million years ago, early primitive groups in the Paleolithic era resided in Shanxi Province, in the Jinnan area.
Chinese society entered the era of feudalism when the King of Dongzhou chose Zhao, Wei and Han as the prime ministers of China in 403 BCE. China was called ‘The Seven States' and included Qi, Chu, Yan, Han, Zhao, Wei and Qin. Modern day Shanxi is the territory combining the three states of Zhao, Wei and Han.
270 years prior to the destruction of the Qi Dynasty by Liuyuan's army in Beizhou, Pingyang, Pingcheng and Jinyang of Shanxi were all important centers of politics, economy, culture and military during China's Warring States Period.
