The Sub-Committee on Ocean and Fisheries held on October 28~30 at Weihai City, Shandong Province, China was held, attended by more than 250 people, including Shandong Province’s Vice Governor, NEAR Secretary General, Japanese Consul General in Qingdao, and delegates of member regions, in the name of “Summit forum for fisheries, economy, and trade cooperation in Northeast Asia and senior forum for Chinese sea cucumber industry.”
In the Sub-Committee, member regions of China, Korea, and Mongolia introduced fishery industry-related policies and fishery industry company delivered a case presentation. After the meeting, participants visited Shandong Fisheries and Seafood Expo and sea cucumber farm.
