On March 10th (Thu.), NEAR Secretariat-General Jun Jae-won attended to the opening ceremony for Gyeonsangbuk-do’s new provincial office building in Andong. The ceremony was held at the front open area of the main building, attended by around 10,000 guests including President Park Geun-hye.
Before the ceremony, Secretary-General Jun participated to the Welcoming Luncheon for the diplomatic corps in South Korea at Andong Grand Hotel. The Secretary-General met with Vice-Governor for Economic Affairs and Ambassador for International Relations of Gyeongsagnbuk-do Province, Chairman of Saemaul Globalization Foundation, and over 40 diplomatic corps from European Union and over 20 countries.
