The NEAR Secretariat attended the “Jeonnam Province–Asian Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations Cooperation Enhancement Workshop,” held in Jeollanam-do Province, the Republic of Korea, from 15 to 17 December.
The workshop brought together representatives and practitioners from the Embassies of China, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea, as well as international organizations including NEAR, the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), the ASEAN–Korea Centre, and the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR).
During the workshop, participants received presentations on Jeollanam-do’s policy vision and engaged in discussions on ways to expand future bilateral and multilateral exchanges and cooperation between Jeollanam-do Province, diplomatic missions, and international organizations.
Through exchanges with participating delegations, the NEAR Secretariat introduced its current ’initiatives and exchanged views on enhancing future cooperation. The Secretariat also requested continued interest in and cooperation with NEAR, while encouraging active participation in the NEAR Member Governments Workshop scheduled to take place in March next year.
