Gyeongsangbuk-do hosted the World Knowledge Forum 2025 with APEC Gyeongbuk from September 9 to 11 in Seoul and Gyeongju.
The event provided a platform to advance the success of APEC 2025 KOREA while positioning Gyeongbuk as a key player in the global economic community.
Governor Lee Cheol-woo remarked, “Just as the world turned its eyes to Korea during the 1988 Olympics and the 2002 World Cup, the time is coming when the world will focus on Gyeongbuk through APEC.
This forum will provide an opportunity to discuss the success of APEC and the future of both Gyeongbuk and the Republic of Korea together with the world’s leading scholars.
