On February 11, Secretary-General LIM Byung-jin met with LEE Hee-sup, Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS), in Seoul.
During the meeting, Mr. Lim shared NEAR's recent developments and the event plans for this year, including the NEAR Member Workshop and the General Assembly. and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between NEAR and TCS. In particular, he requested that Mr. Lee deliver a congratulatory message at the NEAR Member Workshop, scheduled to be held in Jeju this March.

In response, Mr. Lee stated that NEAR and TCS share the common values of promoting mutual development and peace through exchanges and cooperation in the Northeast Asia region, which has allowed the two organizations to maintain a close relationship, and gladly accepted the request to deliver a congratulatory message at the NEAR Member Workshop. He also expressed great interest in the 15th NEAR General Assembly, scheduled to be held in Liaoning Province, China, in June, and conveyed his hope for further strengthening the cooperative partnership between the two organizations.

The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) is an international organization established in September 2011 based on an agreement signed and ratified by the national governments of China, Japan, and Korea, with the aim of promoting joint peace and prosperity among the three countries.
