The Secretariat of the Northeast Asian Regional Government Association (NEAR) is providing support for the 2nd Conference of the NEAR Subcommittee on Traditional Medicine, which will take place in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, China, from April 28 to April 30. The Secretariat will deliver invitations to member governments (excluding China), encourage them to attend, and invite speakers.
Until April 2, a total of 61 delegates from 23 governments and institutions (excluding Shaanxi Province) across six countries, including 18 member governments, three special guest governments, and two related organizations, have applied to attend. Speeches will be delivered by representatives from Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Daegu Haany University in South Korea, Dornogovi Province in Mongolia, the Republic of Buryatia, and the Republic of Tuva in Russia.
The conference will be attended by Two vice governors from the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, and Selenge Province, Mongolia, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Xi’an, and five director-level officials from Turkistan Region, Kazakhstan, Uvurkhangai Province, Mongolia, and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Henan Province, China.
The 2nd Conference of NEAR Subcommittee on Traditional Medicine will be held for three days, including a meeting hosted by the Shaanxi provincial leader and a welcome dinner on April 28, the opening ceremony, the main event, and a field visit to an industrial complex on April 29.
This conference of the NEAR Subcommittee on Traditional Medicine is the second subcommittee conference held by Shaanxi Province of China, which is the coordinator government.
