Cho Sun Hwa, the deputy director of the Department of International Cooperation and other staff members from the NEAR Secretariat visited Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and participated in the 61^st Jeju Tamna Cultural Festival between October 7 and 9. In addition, they discussed ways to strengthen exchange and cooperation between the NEAR Secretariat and Jeju with the officers from the Peace External Cooperation Division. 

This year marks the 61^st anniversary of the Jeju Tamna Cultural Festival. The event was themed “Let's Get Stronger with the True Spirit of Tamna”and conducted 17 various programs, showcasing its charm. In addition, the NEAR Secretariat arranged that performers from Tuv Aimag, Mongolia, a NEAR member visit and deliver a performance accordingly during the Cultural Exchange Festivals program upon request by Jeju and assisted with consecutive interpretation.
