From March 28 to 30, 2018, a NEAR delegation headed by Secretary-General Hong Jong-kyoung visited Mongolia International Travel Mart which was held at the Misheel Convention Center during a visit to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. The delegation stopped by the booths of each NEAR member regional government of Mongolia and listened to briefings on the tourists spots of each region.

Mongolia International Travel Mart is the largest tourism fair in Mongolia. All 21 provinces of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar City, and domestic and foreign tourism companies participate in the fair, which is held annually in Ulaanbaatar City. This year, the fair will partner with Zavkhan Province and Uvs Province the following year.
