○ The 2nd Pohang City Korean Speaking Contest For Foreigners was successfully held, providing foreigners living in Pohang with an opportunity to share their lives and experiences in Korean. A total of 19 participants took part in the contest, with Altanchimeg, a liaison officer from Mongolia, drawing attention by demonstrating her fluent Korean-language skills and winning the Gold Prize.
○ Altanchimeg, NEAR’s liaison officer from Mongolia, shared her experiences and candid stories of living in Korea around the theme of special connections formed in Pohang, connecting deeply with fellow participants while demonstrating her strong interest in the Korean language and culture, as well as her willingness to actively engage and communicate with the local community.
○ The award is viewed as a significant contribution to enhancing cultural understanding between Korea and Mongolia and an interaction with the local community as a foreigner living in Pohang.
