○ Tottori Prefecture in Japan and Gangwon-do Province in South Korea resumed the program to exchange government officials, which had been suspended for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One official from each side is dispatched to work for a one-year period, following the practice initiated last year.

○ Based on the "Agreement on Friendly Cooperation between Tottori Prefecture, Japan, and Gangwon-do Province, South Korea" since 1994, Tottori Prefecture and Gangwon-do Province have been promoting mutual understanding and development through various fields such as youth, culture, arts, sports, economy, tourism, and environment, including the exchange of government officials.
