LIM Byung-jin was inaugurated as the sixth Secretary-General of the Association of North East Asia Regional Governments (NEAR) at the Secretariat on February 1.

During the inauguration ceremony, Secretary-General LIM said, “As NEAR is an important platform promoting exchange and cooperation among local governments in pursuit of common prosperity and peace in the Northeast Asian region, I will strive to make NEAR a center of multilateral exchange and cooperation, well representing Northeast Asia well as the globally known international organization
