New Mongolian Resident Officer Batsaikhan Munkhtsetseg Inaugurated at the NEAR Secretariat on November 42020-11-04

Batsaikhan Munkhtsetseg, a government officer of the Labor and Welfare Service Office, Darkhan-Uul Province, was inaugurated as the Mongolian resident officer on November 4. She received a letter of appointment from Secretary General Kim Ok-chae and started working at the Secretariat.


After majoring in Korean Language and Literature at the University of the Humanities, Mongolia and earning a Master’s degree in Korean Language and Literature from Chungbuk National University, South Korea, Ms. Batsaikhan worked as a government officer in Darkhan-Uul Province for eight years and was in charge of tasks regarding welfare and labor.



As the Mongolian resident officer in the Department of the International Cooperation of the NEAR Secretariat, Ms. Batsaikhan is in charge of liaison and coordination with Mongolian member governments. It is anticipated that Ms. Batsaikhan will perform her duties at the NEAR Secretariat successfully due to her three-year experience studying in Korea and her deep understanding of Korean society and culture.
