Park Chang-su was seconded to the NEAR Secretariat as the Under Secretary-General on August 8 2017. He was formerly the Director of General Affairs Team with the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council.

The newly appointed Under Secretary-General is from Cheongsong, Gyeongsangbuk-do and has experience working in various administrative divisions such as the Investment Promotion Division and as the Deputy-head of Yeacheon Gun. Mr. Park will carry out his duties for the strengthening of exchange and cooperation among NEAR member organizations.
