The NEAR Secretary-General Jun Jae-won visited Primorsky and Magadan Region from July 14 to 15, and asked for active participation in the General Assembly in this September and various other NEAR events. The Vice Governor Alexander Rossi has stated that Primorsky Region would participate in the NEAR more actively, and requested for the preparation of the strategies in disaster prevention in Northeast Asia. The NEAR Secretary-General stated at the Sub-Committee meeting on Mineral Resources Development and Coordination that NEAR would support more efficiently in which to exchange more practical cooperation for the development of mineral resources at the meeting with Governor Vladimir Pecheny of Magadan Region.
