Recently specialists of the Committee on International, Foreign Economic and Interregional Relations of Sakhalin Region had a meeting with the General Consul of the Republic of Korea in Vladivostok Mr. Chon Dae Whan on the question of opening the representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. After official talks the General Consul was offered 5 plots in the business centre of the city for office building construction. Official reply of the choice will be forwarded to the Committee after the Government of the Republic of Korea has considered all variants offered. Mr. Chon Dae Whan expressed his hope that the representation with 13 staff will begin working this autumn.
